Nota d'usoL'aggettivo suggestivo, nel senso di evocativo, affascinante, non corrisponde a “suggestive”, il cui significato principale è che suggerisce qualcosa. Possibili traduzioni corrette di suggestivo possono essere “inspiring” o “atmospheric”: Il paesaggio era molto suggestivo, the scenery was very inspiring (non the scenery was very suggestive). È necessario prestare particolare attenzione al fatto che, se usato da solo, “suggestive” significa sessualmente allusivo, ammiccante. Un'espressione come considerazioni suggestive non va quindi tradotta con suggestive remarks (che rimanderebbe a un contesto di seduzione), ma con stimulating remarks.
